OT Primer is a professional twin pack epoxy resin with a highly advanced oil tolerant formulation. The unique water-reactive and oil binding properties of OT Primer™, allows the resin to tenaciously adhere to substrates suffering from both oil and water contamination. It is widely regarded within the trade as the UK’s No.1 Oil Resistant Prime. Applied prior to the installation of all epoxy, polyurethane and cementitious screeds as well as all epoxy and polyurethane paints and coatings. Its unique solvent-free, low viscosity, formulation can bind up to 15% oil into the resin without any emulsion or bubble formation. Enabling application to oil soaked concrete floors immediately after cleaning the surface. Any oil impregnation becomes locked into the substrate, reacting with the OT Primer™ to draw it down into the capillary pores. Furthermore, OT Primer is manufactured using Polycote’s unique and ultra low viscosity resins. It ensures excellent penetration into porous surfaces to not only achieve the best seal but also to harden the concrete itself.
