Fiberglass-reinforced 2K Marine Epoxy Filler is designed for repairing deep damages and bonding various structural elements in boats and other marine environments. This high-quality epoxy-based filler provides excellent durability, strong adhesion, and a low exothermic reaction, even when applied on large surfaces. The product does not sag on vertical areas and, once cured, is easy to sand – with no need for a finishing filler. The epoxy filler shows minimal shrinkage and does not absorb water, making it suitable for use both above and below the waterline. An ideal choice for boats, laminate structures, and metal surface repairs. Technical Data Suitable substrates: laminate, wood, steel, aluminum Color: light grey Gloss level: matte Density: 1 L = 1550 g VOC content: 60 g/l Mixing ratio: 2:1 (by volume) / 100:50 (by weight) Application method: by spatula Surface preparation: Clean the surface thoroughly with Maston Degreaser. Remove all loose or damaged paint layers and sand the damaged area (P40–P280). Bevel the edges of the damage and clean again. Priming is recommended when repairing osmosis damage, filling micro–pores, or applying on steel surfaces. Mixing: Mix components A (base) and B (hardener) in a 2:1 volume ratio (ml) or 100:50 weight ratio (g) until the color is uniform. Use the mixture within 50 minutes at 20 °C (pot life). Application: Apply in layers up to 5 mm thick. Curing: Cures in approximately 16 hours at 20 °C. Below 10 °C, the filler will not cure. Curing time may vary depending on temperature, humidity, and layer thickness.
