Blade pitch meter

This blade pitch measurement device is one of the most effective tools I know. As a coach, the pitch measure that ultimately counts for me is your blade pitch, not so much what your oar lock pitch is. Many oars twist under sunlight, and therfore change their blade pitch, while the pitch on your oar lock remains the same, the effect of your oars is different. If you want measure pitch with Randallfoils attached, this pitch-o-meter is one of the easiest and most reliable ways to measure effective blade pitch. Important note: There is no need to level your boat lengthwise, as the pitch-o-meter can be pre-leveled to your boat.
